It’s not OUR events calendar—it’s YOURS
Thank you for all the amazing things you’re doing in arts, culture and heritage! You may be a musician rocking live crowds, an artist about to open a show, or a director holding auditions for a play. Perhaps you work for a museum with a year’s worth of exhibitions coming up, or a venue hosting performances.
We want the entire Columbia Basin to know!
For a few years, we’ve been offering an online calendar to display the incredible breadth of what’s happening in arts, culture and heritage across the region.
We’ve worked out the kinks and are ready to help you spread news of your activities. There are just two top criteria. The activity must:
- focus on arts, culture or heritage
- take place within the Columbia Basin (see the map).
This may include events such as:
- performances
- markets
- festivals
- auditions.
You may also post items such as:
- courses
- residencies.
(We suggest you post these under their application/registration deadline, rather than the dates that they actually take place—or both!)
Your event will appear on the calendar within a few days of your submission. And once we know about it, we may be able to help promote it. This includes a possible mention in our newsletter or on our social media channels—each of these has about 2,000 followers—or (coming soon!) in a rotating banner on Articulate magazine online. (Note that inclusion of your event is not guaranteed, as we aim to display a range of locations and artistic disciplines.)
Help us become the one-stop shop for all things arts, culture and heritage in the Columbia Basin!
