Hello beautiful people!!!
I would like to invite you all to a fantastic event. This year we are running the first Nelson Pride edition in ‘The Royal Art Throwdown’ format.
As a stand alone event and in celebration of Pride week, we are bringing together a selection of incredible artists from the lgbtq2s+ community for your viewing pleasure.
Art is such a beautiful voice for culture and expression that we are super excited to see what our artists come up with on the night.
The format will be similar to those we have run before with 3-4 artists on stage in two ‘heats’ for one hour, creating in their chosen format right in front of you.
As usual we will be selling raffle tickets to win the art pieces from the night with a portion of proceeds going to the Christopher Moore Community Fund in support of trans and gender diverse community members.
There will be no charge at the door but donations will also be graciously accepted.

Did I mention that I shall also be providing some fun beats for you to vibe on while watching the artists do their thing?

In the theme of personal expression I would like to invite everyone to dress up on the night. No theme, you just do you boo!

I still have a couple of spaces available for lgbtq2s+ artists for the event if you feel like you would want to join in.

I’m also looking for donations from community businesses or members for prizes for the artists as well as donations for the Christopher Moore fund.

As always get in early and get a seat as it will pack out!!!
