The Trail & District Arts Council presents a unique take on old time bluegrass from Juno nominated BC supergroup The High Bar Gang at The Bailey Theatre on Saturday, February 10 at 7:30 pm. Led by Shari Ulrich (fiddle/mandolin) and guitarist Barney Bentall, with Wendy Bird and Kirby Barber’s vocal harmonies, Dave Barber on banjo, Rob Becker on bass, and Colin Nairne on guitar and mandolin, the band’s repertoire stays firmly rooted in the golden age of bluegrass music with songs by the likes of Bill Monroe, The Stanley Brothers and Del McCoury.
