We will be outdoors absolutely as much as possible (disc golf course, Hopkins Hollow etc) – it’s all about the sketchbook… observing nature, trees, bugs, leaves, animal tracks, clouds, deadfall. It’s learning observational drawing at first, then building composition using pen & ink, watercolour, acrylics. Nature journaling, portrait drawing. Rock painting. Nature mobiles. Reading. Meditation. Plenty of walking. In-situ landscape art. Drawing games. In my studio we’ll also do: glass etching, painted collage, printmaking, card making, letter drawing.
