Join duo CLOAK & DAGGER and their comrade JAKOB with special guest MRAKI for a spectral second installment of SHADOWPLAY Saturday October 12th at the Oxygen Art Centre. This dark music event takes its name from the iconic track off of Joy Division’s debut album Unknown Pleasures. The band’s intervention in 1979 was a game changer that inspired many genres of unique auditory exploration, such as darkwave, EBM, industrial, new wave, post-punk, and gothic rock. The night will feature vintage and contemporary releases from a variety of these mesmerizing and mysterious musical genres.
