A play with music, dance and physical comedy, Limelight takes us back to 1929, in the last days of Vaudeville theatre, an era that spanned over fifty years of popular mass entertainment. The Limelight Theatre is closing its doors and the cast and crew face a grim future as the āsilver screenā steals away their audience. A charismatic movie producer pays them a visit on their last night, offering them fame and fortune in this new era of entertainment. Is it too good to be true?
