Join us this summer in Nelson, BC at Lakeside Park for Dance Mission !!!
International Ecstatic Dance DJ Bernice Raabis, founder of Dance Church and Dance The Medicine is co-producing a monthly outdoor ecstatic dance event with Nadine Wildwood, owner and facilitator of SOMA studio in Nelson, BC.
What is unique about this experience is that we dance using silent disco headsets !
We all listen & dance to the same live dj set. We groove & smile as we dance like nobody’s watching & only we can hear the music.
Dance on the beach, dance in the shade, dance wherever you please because the set will be transmitted directly to you wherever you are in the park.
Each month Bernice will play us an epic DJ set transmitted live from the centre of the park & Nadine will close the set with a live sound bath. 2 hours of music, dance surrounded by nature & community.
Potluck after the dance. Come share snack and connect with community afterwards. Please bring a potluck item if you would like but it is not necessary. We will provide some refreshments for all to just chill in the park after we dance.
No need to bring anything other than yourself. We provide the gear, the live dj and the live sound bath.
