Creston – Skill Share: Collecting Wildflower Seeds

COLLECTING WILDFLOWER SEEDS
ETHICAL HARVESTING FOR HOME-GROWING
Gathering seeds in the wild can be fun and fruitful.
Caroline Collier, Wildsight volunteer and wildflower enthusiast, will offer a presentation about how to gather wildflower seeds ethically and responsibly. Collier will share best practices and important considerations for gathering seed from wildflowers without causing harm. Introducing wild flowers into your growing spaces is a great way to invite pollinators to visit your garden. Collier has been working on various projects with Wildsight to spread awareness about feeding wild pollinators to support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems in the Creston Valley.
