Book Launch! Sisters of Belfast by Melanie Maure
Local author Melanie Maure’s new novel takes place in Ireland and Canada—and like her protagonists, orphaned twins Aelish and Isabel McGuire—the author has roots in both. The Sisters of Belfast, published this month by HarperCollins, is a tale of estrangement and reunion set to launch in two special Nelson events. The inaugural event happens at the Nelson Public Library on Wednesday, February 28 at 7pm. On Thursday, March 7 at 7pm, Notably Books offers an intimate evening with free registration available via notably.ca as space is limited.
