56. My Art My Heart
Paintings; alcohol ink; bookmarks; ornaments

I love to express myself through my art; it is at the heart of who I am—discovering the creative me.
My favourite medium to work with is alcohol inks. I find joy in working with the vibrant colours alcohol ink produces, with its wonderfully unpredictable and exciting layers of designs. As the ink blends and flows, you never quite know what story will unfold.

57. Dorothy Hall
Hand-dyed; various textiles

Hello. I look forward to meeting you at my studio space and to showing you my latest items.
My hand-dyed silk, cotton and linen scarves; silk bandanas; and cotton or linen table runners using natural dyes will be on display.
I sew with materials that I have hand-dyed—commercial fabrics usually bought locally—and also upcycle various types of cloth, continuing to fill my hours making new and creative products. I’ll also possibly do a little bit of weaving again this year.
There will be a variety of my popular floral-hammered gift bags, and I will be demonstrating how to make them—so much fun to do! Would you like to try it?
I am always looking for a new twist on existing processes and ideas. So you never know what I might be working on when you get here.
