DESCRIPTION:Ukraine-born Nastasia Y brings a fabulous fusion of jazz and Slavic folk music to the Taghum Hall gazebo\, joined by Andrew McAnsh on trumpet for an outdoor concert in the Taghum Hall gazebo on Wednesday\, July 24 at 7:30pm. There is a workshop from 6 – 7 that features Ukrainian folksongs for healing (all are welcome! No singing experience necessary. The workshop is free for Ukrainian refugees). Concert and workshop are $15 each\, and kids 12 and under are free. Ukrainian food and souvenirs will be available for purchase\, with proceeds to the Maple Hope Foundation. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket! (some benches available).

With a righteous blend of country\, blues\, and soul\, Heidi Munro and Scott Patrick offer an enticing\, high-energy show combining classic cover songs with gritty\, well-crafted originals. Between the two of them\, these gifted performers have won about a dozen SCMAs (Saskatchewan Country Music Awards)\, with Heidi being further honoured with a National Much Music Vocal prize. The equally accomplished Scott\, a singer/songwriter and\, particularly\, guitarist\, was a key member of renowned country-rock band Wyatt\, and has played all across the country – including with such luminaries as Rascal Flatts and Kenny Rogers. We have an open practice after the lesson until 9:30pm.\n\n\n\nDancers of all levels are welcome!
