SUMMARY:Seniors’ Workshop Series at the Rossland Museum: Preserving Family Heirlooms
DESCRIPTION:The Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre has organized a hands-on\, beginner workshop to help you preserve your family heirlooms. We will be focusing on textiles\, photographs\, paper\, and objects You will learn how to store textiles properly\, do basic repairs on objects\, do basic document repairs\, and encapsulation. You can bring documents from home to repair or encapsulate or you can practice on some pieces from the museum’s education collection. \nEntry is by donation with coffee/tea & treats will be provided; space is limited\, so please RSVP with Skylar at community@ rosslandmuseum.ca or call 250-362-7722
