DESCRIPTION:Want to learn and practice dancing Argentine Tango?\n\n\nWe host a weekly mini-lesson and practica at Christie Lee’s Hall in Fairview.\n\n\nThe guided portion from 7:30-8:15 has a different host and topic each week (check our Facebook page for host and topic announcements). We have an open practice after the lesson until 9:30pm.\n\n\n\nDancers of all levels are welcome! Material is beginner-friendly.\n\n\nTango is an improvised partner dance originating in Argentina and Uruguay; you don’t need a partner to attend tango practices or events and it can be danced by anyone and everyone.\n\n\n\n\nPlease bring your dancing shoes and a water bottle.\n\n\n5$ donation\n\n\n\nWhere to find us: Christies Lees Hall is on Radio Ave.\, in lower Fairview. Trail Rotary Club’s annual Carol Fest is back! \nThe carol concert is a fundraiser for the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Fund and features several local choirs including the St. Michael’s School Choir\, Trail Harmony Choir\, Kootenay Women’s Ensemble\, Rossland Glee\, the Salvation Army Choir AND the Trail Maple Leaf Band. \nDoors open at 7:00. The Maple Leaf Band will play for the arriving audience starting at 7:15 pm and choir performances will begin at 7:30 pm. Join the Trail Maple Leaf Band in caroling in between choir performances. \nEntry is by Donation at the door. \nSo many talented groups give freely of their time bringing their beautiful voices and talents to entertain and get us into the Christmas spirit.
