DESCRIPTION:Join the West Kootenay Regional Arts Council\, Castlegar Arts Council and Capitol Theatre for two special evenings of dance on film originally curated by the dance: made in/fait au canada festival 2023 (d:mic). \nThis unique series of films highlights the powerful combination of creative filmmaking\, vibrant landscapes and thoughtful choreography. DESCRIPTION:Our drop in art nights are back! These free community art nights are open to anyone looking to create amongst likeminded people. We’re opening up our kitchen studio every Wednesday to give people a chance to relax\, socialise\, and create. No reservation required\, join us!All mediums are welcomeGot a present you’re working on? A painting you’re meaning to finish? Mending to do? Fishing flies to make? Bring it along! As long as it’s not overly stinky or noisy you are encouraged to bring your project. The gallery will provide some basic tools\, however artists are expected to be self sufficient.Everyone is welcomeThe Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre is a safe and inclusive space.
